ABOUT US
God's Will for My Body
After 10 years of searching for a conservative "sex education" course for pre-teens, we have finally found one! (You could put 10 exclamation points after that sentence.) We are so thankful for the Biblical, matter-of-fact, "minimalistic" approach that Mr. Coblentz maintains throughout this simple workbook (for young people ages 9-12). He continually shows-through Scripture-how God has designed our bodies and how He designed men and women differently. But there are no detailed anatomical diagrams or overtly revealing explanations of the physical changes our bodies experience during puberty. Rather, the emphasis is on keeping oneself physically and spiritually pure-to God's glory. Chapters can be used on an "as needed" or "as wanted" basis, but it is certainly best for a parent and child to work through this consumable workbook together. The workbook is designed for both boys and girls, with short prayers of thanksgiving and notes of commitment at the end of most chapters-encouraging students to uphold modesty and holiness in this sensitive subject area. As Mr. Coblentz explains in his introduction: "We trust this workbook will help to maintain the Biblical perspective-gladly accepting the reality of our physical bodies and their functions, but showing reserve, modesty, and dignity in the way we discuss such things and conduct ourselves."
