We have bought all of the Opal Wheeler books and enjoyed each one. Initially, I wondered whether we would use the study guide and CD. Though you can purchase the book by itself, I recommend getting the package. I read through the study guide on Bach with my children recently and appreciated the questions asked on each chapter and the historical time frame given, at your finger tips! The CD is useful if your children are not up to the piano level required to play the short songs in the book for themselves and it is cross referenced to the pages in the book for you. Zeezok Publishing has done us all a great service by putting this fantastic series back into print.
